LM-Arte MISURA - What can I do with it?
Achieve high-end direct restorations with ease and in less time. Avoid the unpleasant grey effect that can happen with poorly calibrated opaque and translucent composite layering. This unique instrument enables easy and precise horizontal and vertical measuring of thicknesses of composite layers on anterior restorations.
FIG.1 Create an optimally calibrated 0.5mm space for the buccal enamel layer by removing excess material with the Misura. After applying one layer of composite, but before polymerization of the dentine composite, the thinner, conical shaped tip is placed on the natural tooth enamel.
FIG.2 Easily determine the right amount of transparent composite to apply to the finishing line by placing the thicker, short tip of the Misura horizontally on the margin of the prepared cavity so that the edge of the tip remains on the original enamel.
FIG.3 After removing the excess dentine do not leave a sharp interface between the dentine and the enamel. Using appropriate brushes, one can ramp up the dentine mass almost to the top very close to the enamel surface.
