LM-Arte POSTERIOR MISURA - What can I do with it?
Achieve high-end direct posterior restorations with ease and in less time. This posterior version of the popular Misura instrument is designed for vertical measuring of composite layer thickness on posterior restorations for optimized thickness and occlusion. The fork-shaped tip allows modelling of the proximal wall to copy the height and anatomy of the neighbouring tooth with the presence of a matrix.
FIG.1 The new posterior version of the popular LM Misura instrument simplifies daily practice.
FIG.2 The fork shaped tip of the instrument allows measuring and modelling of the composite wall with the presence of a matrix.
FIG.3 The other measuring end is designed to help ensure a minimum thickness of 1.5mm of the final occlusal layer of Body Shade composite to block out the color of the bottom layer.
FIG.4 Using the fork-shaped end to acheive the same marginal crest height of the adjacent tooth.
FIG.5 Using the fork-shaped end to easily eliminate excess material while controlling the height.
